Job summary

Haleon is hiring a Packaging Technician I to perform manufacturing steps, operate packaging equipment, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards. You will verify materials in SAP, complete line setup and changeovers, and contribute to packaging quality checks.

The role requires basic electronics/industrial mechanics education with PLC experience; teamwork and good communication are essential as you support maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electronics/Industrial Mechanics/Instrumentation or related field plus 1 year of experience in Manufacturing/Packaging Operations or as a Mechanic with PLC/computer-based packaging equipment
• Bachelor's degree with no experience
• Proficient in basic computer programs and PLC/computer-based packaging equipment

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and verify with SAP; coordinate materials for next order
• Operate, clean, set up, changeover, and perform minor repairs on packaging lines
• Conduct in-process quality checks and packaging record reviews
• Follow safety policies and GMP; perform daily safety inspections
• Clean rooms and equipment; perform line clearances and setup certifications
• Support maintenance to improve equipment reliability and efficiency; review OEE data
