Job summary

Altium Packaging in Mount Airy, NC is seeking an entry level Production Packaging Associate to ensure proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load and move materials, operate packaging equipment, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include monitoring conveyors, inspecting bottles, labeling accuracy, stocking supplies, keeping workstations clean, and escalating any quality issues promptly. This role may require overtime depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED; completion of Altium Packaging/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
