Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate in Arden, NC. This role involves proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading and moving materials, and operating packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will inspect bottles, monitor lines, and ensure accurate labeling for customer-specific requirements. The position requires basic math and computer skills, with high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing PPE and following safety policies.
• Loads, moves materials, and operates packaging equipment.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product per customer requirements.
• Inspects bottles for quality during production, packaging and labeling.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears jams from lines.
• Maintains clean and organized workstations and restocks supplies as needed.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities or quality issues promptly.
• Works collaboratively with team and adheres to shift schedule.
