Job summary

Altium Packaging in Turners Falls, MA, is seeking a Production Packaging Associate to join our packaging team. This entry-level position handles packaging, loading, moving materials, and operating packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and completion of the Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Wears PPE and follows safety policies.

• Follows general manufacturing policies and keeps area neat and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects bottle quality during production, packaging and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections and drop tests as required.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities and quality issues promptly.
• Monitors and replenishes packaging materials as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements.
