Job summary

Blake's Beverage Co. in Michigan is seeking a Production Technician to support and lead daily packaging of hard cider into bottles, cans and keg packages. You will operate packaging machinery and maintain sanitation of packaging areas to ensure top quality.

This role emphasizes safety for yourself and peers, teamwork across production departments, and accurate logging of materials and production data. Flexible shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely high level of attention to detail.
• Experience working on a production line, beverage/canning knowledge preferred.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ongoing sense of urgency.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of BHC production.
• Proven ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• A flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations and requirements.
• Must be able to remain on your feet for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily packaging operations of liquid beverages into bottles, cans and keg packages.
• Operate packaging machinery and maintain packaging areas and machinery sanitation.
• Ensure safety of self and peers and uphold safety practices across production.
• Communicate inventory shortages or issues to the production team.
• Log materials consumed, destroyed, and defective goods daily and maintain accurate records.
• Complete all paperwork associated with duties to 100% accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging areas and tools.
• Keep finished product safely stored and logged daily.
• Work with all production departments to ensure high product quality.
• Meet or exceed production volume goals as established by management.
