Job summary

Industrial Arts Brewing Company in Beacon, NY is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator to join our production team. You will handle all aspects of beverage packaging, from canning and kegging to labeling and quality checks, in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and team-focused, with strong communication. You will follow SOPs, maintain sanitation, and adapt to daily priorities while producing high-quality beverages safely.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in operating production equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility, reliability and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn equipment interfaces and production software.
• Forklift certification (training provided by employer).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment (canning, kegging), labeling and date coding.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning and CIP procedures.
• Monitor operations for efficiency and quality; report issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment within procedures and training.
• Complete sanitation tasks per Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Maintain production, sanitation and quality records.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP standards and safety procedures.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory and warehouse activities.
• Keep production and storage areas clean, safe and organized.
• Collaborate with the production team and adapt to changing priorities.
