Blake's Beverage Co. in Michigan is seeking a Production Technician to support and lead daily packaging of hard cider into bottles, cans and keg packages. You will operate packaging machinery and maintain sanitation of packaging areas to ensure top quality.

This role emphasizes safety for yourself and peers, teamwork across production departments, and accurate logging of materials and production data. Flexible shifts include nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support daily packaging operations of liquid beverages into bottles, cans and keg packages.

• Communicate inventory shortages or issues to the production team.
• Log materials consumed, destroyed, and defective goods daily and maintain accurate records.
• Complete all paperwork associated with duties to 100% accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging areas and tools.
• Keep finished product safely stored and logged daily.
• Work with all production departments to ensure high product quality.
• Meet or exceed production volume goals as established by management.

Description

The Production Technician’s primary responsibilities will be supporting and leading the daily packaging of liquid (hard cider) into bottles, cans and keg packages, operating packaging machinery, and the cleaning and sanitation of the packaging areas and machinery. Additionally, the position will be responsible for their own safety, ensuring the safety of their peers, and working closely with all production departments to ensure the highest product quality.

Essential Responsibilities

The following list of essential duties for the Production Technician is required to perform other duties as directed by management.

• Learn, understand and packaging operations according to the process instructions and/or standard operation procedures (SOP’s)
• Help-out as needed in all other parts of the BHC production building (Team Player)
• Keep the packaging areas and workspaces clean and organized
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials by using them to their designed intent
• Ensure finished product is safely and neatly stored in its appropriate area, and logged accurately each day
• Count and log all consumed packaging materials, destroyed materials, and defective (failed quality) goods each day
• Complete all paperwork associated with each duty to 100% accuracy
• Communicate to the production team any inventory shortages or other potential issues that may occur
• Maintain a positive attitude and act in accordance with BHC company goals
• Make a positive contribution to the team through attitude, ideas, and work ethic
• Always conduct ones-self in a professional and cooperative manner
• Ensure that your time is being used efficiently and effectively every day
• Meeting or exceeding production volume goals as established by management
