Job summary

Opella, a self-care leader, is seeking a Packaging Technician to operate and maintain packaging lines from tube fillers to bottle fillers. You will set up equipment, clean, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

This 2nd shift role (2:30pm–11:00pm) requires high school diploma, experience with high-speed packaging, and ability to lift 25–60 pounds; you will follow SOPs, Set-Up Sheets, SPIs, and FDA/cGMP requirements to protect quality and people.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with high-speed packaging equipment.
• Able to operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production lines, ensuring safety, quality and output.
• Disassemble/reassemble machinery using tools as needed.
• Prepare packaging lines for various products and ensure correct setup.
• Provide packaging supplies to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor product quality and reject nonconforming materials.
• Follow Set-Up Sheets, SPIs, SOPs and related procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with FDA and cGMP requirements.
