Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a packaging associate to assemble, label, and stage boxes for shipment in our Sparta, TN facility. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient handling of product through packing lines.

Candidates should be able to operate packing equipment, select proper boxes, and follow liner/cap procedures. This on-site position includes overtime when needed and adherence to all PPE and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in safe packing and boxing procedures.
• Ability to inspect products and identify defects.
• Strict adherence to PPE and safety rules.
• Comfort with material handling and lifting
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packing machinery and assemble boxes safely.
• Select box sizes and seal with tape gun.
• Align multiple boxes on the machine without blocking aisles.
• Follow cap/liner instructions and prepare for shipping.
• Label completed boxes accurately and stage on skids.
• Perform random product sampling to detect defects and report issues.
