Job summary

Haleon plc. is seeking a Packaging Technician in New York to support the packaging area and analyze root causes for process improvement. This role operates 12-hour shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) and involves managing packaging lines at high speeds, handling materials, and maintaining safety and compliance.

You will perform autonomous maintenance, assist with preventive maintenance, conduct quality checks, and document batch activity in SAP. A strong eye for cost savings and efficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate our automated toothpaste packaging lines up to 450 tubes per minute.
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform autonomous maintenance.
• Assist maintenance technician on preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and products.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Document batch activity in the ERP system (SAP).
• Identify and act on process improvements and cost savings.
