Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Packaging Technician to support the packaging area, analyzing root causes for process improvement and cost reductions on 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am. You will operate automated toothpaste packaging lines, handle materials, maintain cleanliness, and perform autonomous maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work extended shifts, and basic computer skills (Data entry, Word, Excel).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute.
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment.
• Perform autonomous maintenance to keep lines at top performance.
• Assist maintenance technician with preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and products.
• Perform activities with focus on safety and compliance.
• Process transactions in SAP to manage materials from receipt to final product.
• Perform frequent quality checks and document results.
• Document batch activity on computerized system.
• Identify and implement process improvement and cost savings.
