Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Packaging Technician to support the packaging area, analyzing root causes for process improvement and cost reductions. This 12-hour shift role (7:00pm–7:00am) offers opportunities to lead key activities and advance your career.

Responsibilities include operating automated toothpaste packaging lines, handling materials, maintaining equipment, and performing autonomous maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Basic computer skills (Data entry, email, Word and Excel).
• Manufacturing or Production environment experience.
• Experience as a packaging operator.
• Experience with equipment/machinery maintenance and changeovers.
• OJT certification in Line Clear, Changeover and Quality.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds and stand/bend/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines up to 450 tubes per minute.
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and equipment.
• Perform autonomous maintenance to keep lines at top performance.
• Assist maintenance technician on preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inventories of packaging materials and products.
• Perform activities with focus on safety and compliance.
• Use SAP to manage materials from receipt to final product.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
