Job summary

Remington Seeds LLC is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee packaging operations and ensure accurate labeling according to customer instructions. You will train staff, maintain safe practices, and support quality management initiatives to protect product integrity.

Qualifications

• Agricultural background beneficial.
• Computer skills beneficial; advanced skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff within packaging processes.
• Ensure labels are legible and accurate per customer instructions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and support safety programs.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System.
• Record and locate information using computers as needed.
• Ensure product integrity through thorough cleaning between bagging runs.
• Manage packaging inventory and timely paperwork submission.
• Perform preseason maintenance on packaging equipment to reduce downtime.
• Ensure seed pallets are neatly stacked and securely wrapped before warehouse placement.
• Monitor daily bag output and maximize production.
