Job summary

Golden State Medical Supply, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of Packaging (Machine Operations) in Camarillo, CA. The role leads the Packaging Department, ensures on-schedule production, and upholds regulatory compliance with cGMP, FDA, and DEA standards.

You will train staff, evaluate performance, drive process improvements, and maintain a clean, compliant department while coordinating with master batch records and change controls. A potential bonus is available along with health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must qualify as a Designated Representative (DR).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably packaging.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, SOPs, DEA, OSHA regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to obtain DR License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise packaging employees and assign tasks.
• Ensure productivity and quality goals are met.
• Maintain SOPs and cGMP compliance.
• Schedule timecards and overtime.
• Assist with Deviation investigations and corrective actions.
• Perform Packaging Assessments for new products and changes.
• Update Production Planning tools as required.
• Schedule and monitor changeovers and downtime.
• Provide training and evaluate performance.
• Back up packaging functions as needed.
