Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties, LLC., located in Melrose Park, IL, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all packaging lines under the shift supervisor.

You will direct daily operations, manage staffing, schedules, and attendance, and uphold safety and quality standards across the production floor to maximize efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in giving direction to employees and operating and diagnosing equipment.
• Ability to communicate with both direct report employees and management.
• Understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operations of all packaging lines under the supervisor of the shift supervisor.
• Supervises and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules and attendance.
• Evaluates and recommends employees for hire or termination.
• Coordinates with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possible.
• Enforce company safety, break & lunch policies.
• Train and coach other operators and line employees to maintain high efficiency with minimal downtime.
• Ensure all packaging equipment is in operational condition.
• Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace.
• Document downtime and lost efficiency.
• Ensure quality guidelines for products are followed.
• Enforce all FDA and company guidelines.
• Assist with Continuous Improvement.
• Maintain LOTO certification.
• Review and assist with all quality control documents.
• Ensure Food Safety of Production.
