Job summary

Red Gold is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the production of a quality-finished product in a cost-efficient manner, maximizing use of supplies, equipment, and human resources through teamwork, training, and pride in achievement.

Responsibilities include leading labeling, enforcing SOPs, guiding the crew, troubleshooting equipment, implementing corrective actions, coordinating manpower, analyzing data, training staff, and addressing maintenance and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Management or Supervision.
• 2-4 years in management/supervisory role in Food Manufacturing.
• Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead labeling effort.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed.
• Communicate goals to the crew.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems with operators.
• Oversee corrective actions to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor use of SOPs and adherence.
• Coordinate manpower for production lines (21-25 operators).
• Analyze data to improve efficiency and quality.
• Train employees on processes and safety.

This position is responsible for overseeing the production of a quality-finished product in an efficient manner while achieving maximum use of supplies, equipment, and our human resources through teamwork, training, and a sense of pride in our achievements. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

• Lead Labeling Effort
• Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
• Communicate goals to the crew
• Work with operators to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems and other production issues
• Work to correct any problems that are identified, determine where and why the problem occurred, and oversee specific corrective action
• Monitor use of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements for Success:

• 4-year degree in Management or Supervision
• 2-4 years in management/supervisory role in Food Manufacturing environment

• Must display initiative and ingenuity
• On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
