Job summary

Red Gold is seeking a production associate to support paste delivery, seamer operations, and related processing tasks in Indiana. This role requires following supervisor direction, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding GMP and safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, good basic math and reading skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Overtime and heavy lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as paste delivery, utility, seamer operator, relief, depalletizer, and weighing.
• Clean and/or sweep floor during downtime.
• Keep area neat and orderly.
• Work as a team with crew and plant staff.
• Monitor and report safety and quality issues.

• Perform responsibilities as paste delivery, utility, seamer operator, relief, depalletizer, diced tomato pumping, ingredient weighing, etc. as directed by supervisor
• During periods of downtime, clean and/or sweep floor
• Keep area neat and orderly
• Be knowledgeable of all job functions related to production
• Work as a team player with members of the crew and others in the plant

Adhere to all Red Gold policies, rules and regulations, including GMP’s and safety

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience

• Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual labor related tasks.
• Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects.
