Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dependable Packer Handler to maintain a safe and organized workspace while ensuring quality through inspection and proper assembly. You will work on 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced production environment, lifting up to 35 pounds and routinely performing repetitive tasks with accuracy.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with an increase to $19.00 per hour after 90 days based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental and vision plans, PTO, 401(k) eligibility after 90 days,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience a plus but not required.
• Must be able to keep up with the fast-paced production cycles.
• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
• Able to tolerate constant repetition.
• Some workstations may require sitting or standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Must be able to identify alpha / numeric product codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and escalate issues.
• Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare proper product identification and packaging labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Respond to production interruptions by cleaning, preparing boxes, etc.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
