Job summary

Amcor in Oregon is seeking a Packer/Handler to maintain a safe, clean work area, inspect product quality, and assemble items with gaskets and lids, keeping pace with production.

You will work 12-hour shifts on a 2-on 2-off 2-on 3-off schedule, starting at $18 per hour with $1 shift differential, eligible for benefits after 30 days and 401(k) after 90 days.

No degree required; HS diploma preferred; role requires lifting up to 35 lbs and ability to stand or sit; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production experience helpful but not required.
• Able to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Must tolerate repetitive tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product to ensure quality and set aside items below standard.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets in lids and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare proper product identification and packaging labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Clean up during downtime and complete paperwork as required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
