Job summary

Amcor LLC in Warren, OR is seeking a Packer Handler to maintain a safe, clean workspace and support production. You will inspect, assemble and label products, run packaging tasks, and assist with material handling while maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a plan to raise to $19.00 per hour after 90 days based on performance. Shift is 12 hours with a 2-2-2-3 schedule and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Production experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and set aside substandard items.
• Complete assembly by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers.
• Flame containers and lids when required and watch for irregularities.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare product labels and assist with packaging.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Clean up during machine downtime and perform paperwork.
• Perform any miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervision.
