Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a Packer/Handler role focused on maintaining a safe, organized work area and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced production environment. You will inspect, assemble, label, and pack products, and participate in clean-up during machine interruptions.

The position requires reaching, lifting up to 35 pounds, and following quality controls. The role offers 12-hour shifts (2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) with paid lunch breaks and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience a plus but not required.
• Must be able to keep up with the fast-paced production cycles.
• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
• Able to tolerate constant repetition.
• Some workstations may require sitting or standing for long periods.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Must be able to identify alpha / numeric product codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and reject below-standards.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare product identification and labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Address production interruptions and clean up as needed.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
