Job summary

Amcor in Saint Helens, OR seeks a Packer/Handler to support 12-hour production shifts. You will maintain an organized area, inspect products for quality, assemble with gaskets/handles, flame containers, and stack/pack per customer instructions.

You’ll also label, assist with material handling and complete required paperwork. The role requires agility, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with benefits including PTO, health plans, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Must identify alpha/numeric product codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and alert supervisors of issues.
• Complete assembly by installing gaskets and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare labeling and packaging as required.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks.
• During machine interruptions, perform cleanup and related tasks.
• Accurately complete paperwork and other duties as assigned.
