Job summary

Kinder’s is seeking a Packaging Sourcing Manager in Walnut Creek, CA to lead sourcing and management of packaging materials across our growing product portfolio. You will build strong supplier partnerships, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive cost-efficient, sustainably packaged products.

With 5–7+ years in sourcing/procurement in consumer goods, you will influence cross-functional teams and negotiate favorable contracts while advancing Kinder’s values of ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with focus on packaging.
• Deep knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing technologies, and sustainability trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive packaging materials sourcing strategy aligned with Kinder’s objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to scale with Kinder’s growth.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost, quality, reliability, and delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities for packaging, including forecasting, demand planning, inventory and logistics coordination.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Finance to align material needs and timing.
