Job summary

Kinder’s in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Raw Ingredients to lead sourcing strategy for salt, sugar, starch and other materials across our growing product portfolio. You’ll build supplier partnerships, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive cost and quality improvements.

Collaborating with Operations, Product, and Finance, you’ll forecast needs, optimize the end-to-end supply chain, and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on raw materials.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Familiarity with food industry regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy for raw materials aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities for raw materials, including forecasting and inventory.
• Establish raw ingredient specifications and lead quality control initiatives.
• Analyze packaging costs and lead supplier negotiations to reduce spend.
