Job summary

IPG is expanding its global team and seeks a Business Development Specialist in the Cleveland, OH area. You will serve as the market and application expert, pursuing new business opportunities with end users and distributors, and coordinating with sales leadership to reach revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of BD or sales experience, a hunter mentality, and a strong customer-service mindset. Travel by air or vehicle is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree from accredited university.
• 4–7 years business development or sales experience in a related field.
• Hunter mentality with competitive drive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service mindset and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as market and application expert for assigned product lines.
• Pursue new business opportunities at end users and distributors.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers and Director of Sales to meet revenue and CM goals.
• Prospect key end users and support distributor sales reps to close business.
• Manage sales cycle from qualification to close; coordinate with distribution partners.
