RRD Company is seeking a Packaging Specialist to assist the shipping department with daily material movement, receiving, loading, unloading, and transporting printed products. The role ensures shipments meet customer specifications and SLAs, using carriers like FedEx/UPS for delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing bills of lading, verifying documents, and maintaining records. The position requires 3+ years in shipping/ manufacturing support, strong IT skills, and the ability to operate

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping/ manufacturing administration or operations.
• Strong knowledge of information systems used for materials tracking and inventory control.
• Good computer literacy and ability to use SPreadsheets/databases.
• Clear verbal and written communication across departments.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles and lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Assist with daily shipping department activities, including receiving, loading, unloading, and transporting materials and finished products.
• Prepare bills of lading, weigh shipments, and attach shipping instructions to boxes.
• Verify goods against documents and maintain records of shipments and receipts.
• Support manufacturing areas with routine duties and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train and guide junior staff as needed and maintain organized workspaces.
