Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Packaging Development Project Manager to drive packaging programs from concept to production in Van Wert, Ohio. The role requires direct coordination with North American customers and internal teams to ensure timelines and quality targets are met.

The candidate will manage trials, documentations, and product specifications, while aligning with Quality, Planning, and R&D to support successful launches and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to packaging engineering or materials science.
• Experience leading packaging development projects from concept to production.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and product qualification standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development projects from concept through testing, validation, approval, and production.
• Serve as primary technical contact for North American packaging customers.
• Coordinate trials, sample development, testing, and qualification activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, data sheets, and validation reports.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Commercial, and R&D teams for launches.
• Ensure packaging products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and FDA regulations.
