Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years packaging development experience, with 2–3 years leading projects.
• Hands-on ENOVIA PLM experience: packaging specs, BOMs, change workflows.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and formats (films, cartons, corrugate, tubes, caps, plastics, glass).
• Experience with stage-gate or similar product development processes.
• PM skills; PMP certification a plus.
• Familiarity with ISTA and ASTM testing methods.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods or related industries preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PM tools; CAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging development projects from concept to production start-up.
• Build and maintain timelines, budgets, and resource plans; report status and risks.
• Define packaging requirements with cross-functional teams (structure, materials, graphics, regulatory).
• Collaborate with suppliers on material selection, prototyping, sampling, qualification.
• Coordinate testing and validation (transit, drop-tests, compatibility, line trials).
• Prepare packaging specs, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Lead cost-saving and sustainability initiatives (reduction, recyclables).
• Support artwork approvals for on-time release.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to ensure timely execution.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
