Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Supervisor to lead a production department, ensuring safe, efficient operations and optimal use of manpower, equipment and materials. You will train staff, enforce safety standards and drive continuous improvement across the line.

Lead and schedule hourly workers, manage overtime, and coordinate with plant leadership to meet performance goals while upholding GMP and company policies. This role offers growth within a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Business or Engineering.
• 5 years related experience in manufacturing, preferably in the plastic industry.
• Experience supervising more than 10 employees.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement experience.
• Shop floor reporting system experience; MS Office proficiency (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly and temporary employees in production operations.
• Promotes and enforces safety rules and policies.
• Coordinates overtime and staffing with plant production needs.
• Evaluates performance and reports downtime/quality metrics.
• Drives continuous improvement and communicates changes to production personnel.
