Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Packaging area. You will supervise a team, direct daily operations, and ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and quality procedures.

You will monitor production, coach direct reports, manage KPIs and yield, and collaborate on the production budget. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Experience in food or pet food production is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary for daily operations.
• Leadership skills to coach and mentor hourly teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations within the Packaging area.
• Ensure direct reports follow safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
• Monitor production quality, yield, and safety compliance.
• Oversee quality standards and address deviations.
• Conduct audits for quality and safety and drive improvements.
• Develop and coach direct reports and reinforce company values.
• Understand and contribute to the production budget and KPIs.
