Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Packaging area to lead a team, direct daily operations, and ensure safety, GMP, and quality compliance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience working in food production or pet food production is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify challenges and potential solutions.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor large teams of hourly employees.
• Ability to priority and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct and maintain daily operations using production scheduling tools.
• Ensure reports follow safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
• Monitor production quality, yield, and compliance with specs.
• Oversee quality standards and address deviations.
• Perform quality and safety audits and communicate results.
• Ensure work instructions and procedures are followed.
• Coach and develop direct reports and reinforce company values.
• Understand production budget and collaborate on budgeting.
