Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Erlanger Production team. The role focuses on improving OEE, scrap reduction, and change management across packaging lines.

You will lead CI projects, coordinate line trials, and work with Maintenance, R&D, Quality, and Engineering to drive productivity. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in a CPG engineering role, a BS in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering, and strong data analysis skills using Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years as an engineer in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
• Experience leading packaging design or equipment installation and start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Improve OEE, scrap, and change management on production lines.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and line trials.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, R&D, Packaging, Production, and Quality.
• Capture data, analyze results, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
