Aptar is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to establish robust processes, lead DoE initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in plastics operations. You will work with development teams and vendors to optimize cycles, output, and quality across multiple lines.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in plastics, expertise in DoE and SPC, plus fluency with blueprints and Six Sigma tools. Competitive salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• 10+ years’ technical experience in plastics preferred.
• Working knowledge of scientific molding principles.
• Working knowledge of Design of Experiments.
• Familiar with Six Sigma tools for Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provides training for technicians and supervisors across all shifts.
• Monitors and implements use of monitoring systems to analyze processes and establish capabilities.
• Perform Design of Experiments.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control.
• Analyze data to troubleshoot equipment, tools and processes.
• Establish process variables and tolerances.
• Monitor and oversee the sampling of new and existing equipment.
• Develop and implement permanent corrective actions on processes via root cause analysis.
