Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, structural design, art, engineering, or packaging.
• 4+ years’ experience in packaging and POP display creation and design.
• Strong knowledge of production methods, printing methods, materials, styles, and retail usage of packaging/POP displays.
• Experience with CAD software and standard design tools.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging and POP designs for new and existing products in line with PCA design and safety standards.
• Evaluate customer needs and translate them into drawings, designs, and prototypes within plant capabilities.
• Develop materials and production methods to meet customer requirements and utilize plant facilities efficiently.
• Create or secure samples of designs for customer inspection, production orders, and division operations.
• Perform packaging and component testing, evaluate results, and advise stakeholders.
• Coordinate design reviews with customers and manage vendor communications and costs.
• Provide training and guidance to junior designers.
