Job summary

The Imagine Group in the Twin Cities area is seeking a Structural Design Intern to assist with POP displays, packaging, and prototyping. This onsite role offers hands-on experience across creative design and production in a fast-paced visual communications environment.

You will learn to use ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe Creative Suite, develop assembly instructions, and collaborate with account teams. The internship emphasizes practical design, documentation, and process improvements, with

Qualifications

High School Diploma and enrolled in Industrial Design, Packaging, or Merchandising Design program.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
Hands-on experience with ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with design development and outputting dimensional mock-ups of POP displays and packaging using ArtiosCAD and Adobe CC.
Create and maintain procedural, instructional, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with Structural Designers to work with Account Executives and Account Managers across Imagine to execute projects.
Work with creative design and production teams for rapid ideation and iterative development.
Coordinate with production to optimize designs for manufacturing capabilities.
Assist in consulting with estimating and production to minimize production costs.
Develop consultative and professional support skills in client interactions as needed.
Contribute to process improvements, data collection, and standardization efforts.
