Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Designer to collaborate with customers and sales reps to create packaging and POP displays, and to redesign packaging for existing products. The designer will apply advanced design skills while ensuring adherence to company standards and production capabilities.

You will evaluate customer needs, develop design concepts, and coordinate with vendors to produce samples, dies, and production-ready artwork. Training and mentoring junior designers is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, packaging or related field.
• Strong knowledge of production methods, printing, materials, and retail packaging.
• Minimum four years’ experience in packaging and POP design.
• Proficiency with CAD software and standard design tools.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging and POP designs for new and existing products.
• Evaluate customer needs and translate them into drawings and prototypes.
• Develop materials and production methods to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate samples, dies, and production with vendors.
• Provide training and guidance to junior designers.
