Job summary

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, structural design, art, engineering, or packaging.
• Strong working knowledge of production methods, printing methods, materials, and retail packaging usage.
• Minimum of four years’ experience with packaging and point-of-purchase display design.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging designs and POP displays for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with customers and sales reps to meet design requirements.
• Develop materials and production methods to optimize plant facilities.
• Prepare drawings, prototypes, and samples for customer reviews.
• Perform design reviews with customers and provide cost estimates.
• Coordinate graphics, die design, and vendor negotiations for samples.
