Job summary

Lifeline Foods LLC is seeking a packaging operator to support our plant operations by packaging finished products, labeling, palletizing, and loading outbound goods. The role requires operating forklifts, labeling equipment, and packaging lines while maintaining GMP and quality standards in a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will handle tasks from labeling and code dating to pallet patterns and routine maintenance, with a focus on safety and efficiency in daily packaging

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math and effective communication with internal/external customers are required.
• Proficiency with computers, two-way radio communications, and packaging PLC equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product from 5 lb to 3,000 lb on automatic bag lines and bulk tote lines.
• Load, operate and adjust labeling machines; perform labeling and stenciling.
• Operate forklift and maintain safe forklift practices; transfer product to bins and pallets.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on packaging lines when needed.
• Complete paperwork to meet HACCP, traceability and quality requirements.
