A leading global eye health company is seeking a Packaging Operator in Greenville, SC. This role involves setting up and operating packaging equipment to manufacture quality products while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Candidates should possess a High School Diploma and have at least one year of experience in manufacturing, preferably within a packaging operation. The role requires weekend shifts and offers a starting pay of $18.00 per hour plus a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year manufacturing experience, preferably in a packaging operation.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate packaging equipment per SOP and GMP.
• Perform quality inspections and document relevant information.
• Maintain supply of components and manage line changes.

Skills

Strong reading and math comprehension

Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Ability to be an effective member of a team

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to prioritize work and make informed decisions

Basic computer skills (i.e. MS Outlook and Excel)

PLC machine/equipment experience

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
