Job summary

A global eye health company in Greenville, SC, seeks a Packaging Operator to set up and operate packaging lines following SOP and GMP. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, one year of manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills. Pay starts at $18 per hour plus a shift differential. This full-time position requires adherence to procedures, quality inspections, and teamwork. Must be authorized to work in the U.S., and no sponsorships are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year manufacturing experience, preferably in a packaging operation.
• Two (2) or four (4) year degree, or manufacturing certification.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate packaging equipment adhering to SOP and GMP.
• Perform line clearances and sublot changeover accurately.
• Document Quality Inspections and related information.

Skills

Strong reading and math comprehension

Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Ability to be an effective member of a team

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to prioritize work and make informed decisions

Basic computer skills (i.e. MS Outlook, Excel, web-based applications)

PLC machine/equipment experience preferred

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred
