Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Packaging Operator I in New Jersey. The role involves safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment, ensuring products are processed per the Packaging Batch Record and in full compliance with cGMP and SOPs.

The position features a 12-hour rotating schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with every other weekend required. Entry-level experience in pharmaceutical packaging is acceptable; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP requirements.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain clean, compliant processes.
• Commitment to ensuring accurate documentation and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Packaging Batch Record.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs, PPE, gowning and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and record batch information.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Verify scales and balances are calibrated before use.
• Support disposal of rejected products per procedures.
• Be flexible to extended hours and weekends when required.
