Job summary

Amneal is seeking an entry-level Packaging Operator I in New Jersey to support the packaging department. The role ensures products are packaged per the Packaging Batch Record and SOPs, while maintaining cGMP compliance across operations.

The job requires wearing PPE and following safety protocols. The position operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than one year of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging/Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging operations in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety and environmental regulations.
• Dispose of rejected products and packaging components per procedures.
• Inspect and verify bulk product and components prior to entry into the packaging room.
• Keep packaging area clean, organized, and ready for operations.
• Maintain accurate logbook entries for each batch operation.
• Perform in-process quality control checks and document results in the Packaging Batch Record.
• Verify the accuracy of scales and balances and ensure calibration status before packaging operations.
