Job summary

Amneal is seeking an entry-level Packaging Operator I in New Jersey. The role ensures packaging of in-process products per the Packaging Batch Record while strictly adhering to cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocols. It operates on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Flexibility for extended hours and weekend work is expected. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and less than one year of experience in pharmaceutical packaging.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than one year of experience in pharmaceutical packaging/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment per the Packaging Batch Record and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate logbook entries before and after each batch.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and document results.
• Inspect components and ensure packaging line is clean and prepared.
• Dispose of rejected products and components per procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Flexible to work extended hours and weekends as required.
