Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Packaging Operator I for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday) to operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with the Packaging Batch Record and cGMP.

The role emphasizes strict SOP adherence, PPE usage, logbook accuracy, in-process QC, and calibration checks on scales before starting.

Education requires a High School diploma or GED; experience is less than one year in pharma packaging. OSHA respirator fit test is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than one year in Pharmaceutical Packaging/Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP.
• Ability to perform weight checks and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow cGMP, SOPs, safety rules; use PPE and gowning.
• Dispose rejected products and packaging components per procedures.
• Inspect bulk product and components; ensure clean packaging room.
• Maintain logbook entries before and after each batch.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Verify scales/calibrations prior to packaging operations.
