Sofidel America is seeking a Converting Packaging Operator in Las Vegas to operate, set up, and maintain packaging equipment ensuring finished products meet customer and company standards.

The successful candidate will follow health and safety guidelines, work with PPE, and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment. On-site training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Sofidel America is a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use worldwide. We are currently seeking a Converting Packaging Operator to join our team in Las Vegas Blvd.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining packaging equipment and processes to ensure the production of finished products that meet both customer and company requirements. The Converting Packaging Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to health & safety and company policies at all times.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and utilize required PPE.
• Never bypass or disconnect safety devices on equipment while in operation.
• Immediately address and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Participate in accident investigations as needed.
• Support Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP standards.
• Apply customer specifications to machine operation for quality compliance.
• Perform regular equipment audits to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks with honesty and integrity.
• Report non-conforming products to shift supervisor and management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize contamination risks.
• Operate machinery at maximum efficiency.
