Job summary

Pharmavite is hiring a production operator at our Ohio facility to support safe operation and maintenance of manufacturing and warehouse equipment. You will monitor equipment parameters, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere to cGMP and quality documentation practices. The role includes participation in changeovers, housekeeping, and daily operational planning, with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related machine operator experience required.
• Ability to work in a diverse team and learn processes.

Responsibilities

• Learns and performs work associated with the safe operation and maintenance of various manufacturing and warehouse equipment, depending on the specialized operational processes and materials used.
• Monitors equipment parameters, including meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls, to ensure adherence to production, warehouse, process, and quality specifications.
• Resolves common or recurring equipment issues through troubleshooting and equipment adjustments with guidance.
• Understands and utilizes production information used to manage daily operations, including MDI boards and electronic platforms.
• Adheres to cGMP standards by completing relevant paperwork, following good documentation practices, and performing quality control checks.
• Escalates issues related to safety, quality, compliance, and equipment status. Communicates operational needs and requests additional support as necessary.
• Participates in all required housekeeping (5S), cleaning, and sanitation activities.
• Operates material-handling equipment, including electric hand trucks, walk-along pallet lifts, hoists, and other equipment as needed.
• Participates in equipment changeovers and setups, including cleaning and inspecting parts, reviewing checklists, assisting with equipment setup and start-up, and supporting the assigned functional area.
