Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator in Orlando, FL to perform repetitive production and packing operations on preforms and similar products. You will participate in the plant training program, monitor line quality, and ensure parts meet customer specs.

Responsibilities include operating and tending molding equipment, packing good parts, reporting scrap and downtime, and communicating with supervisors on defects or needed repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from college or technical school is a plus.
• Six months related experience can apply.

Responsibilities

• Train and become proficient in the plant training program.
• Shutdown production equipment to prevent defects and hold non-conforming product as needed.
• Check parts hourly for defects and ensure customer specs are met.
• Monitor parts flow into assembly and storage; tend molds and line equipment.
• Pack quality parts for sealing and shipping; complete daily production reports.
• Notify supervisor when quality or machine issues arise; perform setup adjustments.
