Job summary

Amcor in Orlando, FL is seeking an Injection Mold Machine Operator responsible for packaging and movement of finished product, data entry, ticket generation, and proper product staging, while following GMP and safety guidelines.

You will troubleshoot processes, set machine conditions for optimum cycle, assist with mold changes, maintain housekeeping, report quality issues, and support team safety.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipment according to customer specifications and internal GMP guidelines.
• Start injection presses from a cold start state and understand/describe machine function and process parameters.
• Set machine conditions to achieve optimum cycle while maintaining quality.
• Maintain housekeeping and complete daily cleanup tasks in the area of responsibility.
• Take corrective action and notify Lead, Quality and Shift Technician when a quality problem is detected.
• Understand dryer, chiller, mold components and process requirements.
• Assist with mold changes and setups; perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and use appropriate PPE and report hazards to supervisors.
