Job summary

Monroechamber is hiring a Packer to join a fast-paced production line. You will package products, inspect for quality, and prepare shipments while supporting line changeovers and 5S housekeeping. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to follow SOPs.

Overtime and weekend shifts may be available. Safety and quality compliance are essential. The position offers varied shifts (1st–3rd, weekends) and on-site work with opportunities to learn and grow within the packaging

Qualifications

• TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read simple prose in familiar context
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Package products according to SOPs and batch specifications for shipping
• Inspect products for defects and ensure proper seals and quantities
• Move and palletize shipments, operate packing equipment, load machines
• Rotate through packing functions and assist with line changeovers
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per 5S and cGMP requirements
• Report potential quality issues and support line stoppage when needed
