Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of applicable maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills; ability to perform basic computer tasks and use common programs.
• Ability to read and interpret various instructions and documents.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments to ensure high-quality product.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and other departments to keep lines running efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Diagnose problems, analyze data, and develop viable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to others as needed.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• May require overtime and/or weekend work.
• May require PPE and PAPR usage.
• Document and escalate safety or quality issues as per protocol.
• Execute SMED activities on packaging lines.
• Contribute to OPEX initiatives and improve overall equipment reliability.
